An Encounter at Powell's? m4w I was at Powell's downtown with a friend while back. We were browsing for some new books--cuz, you know, that's what you do at Powell's. :) And we fell into this little game of grabbing the first book our hands touched, opening the book to a random page, and read a paragraph or two our loud.
This was a fun thing to do with a friend on a lovely springtime evening, but it got me to thinking. It could be a sweet idea for a date... if only there were a way to spice it up a little bit. ;)

Here's what I'm thinking:

And we talk about books we've read, would like to read, and maybe fall into that same random reading game. We would stand there, surrounded by all of these books of erotic short stories, randomly reading to each other in hushed tones, from book after book.
I think it would be fun to see how long we could go--maybe tripping over words we're not quite comfortable saying out loud, or trying not to let anyone nearby hear us speaking such naughty phrases.
